I am passionate about mental health, communication, and self improvement based around open and honest conversations. My personal experiences led to me to become a therapist and I am now able to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives through therapeutic support.
Expertise
As a qualified therapist I offer an in-depth knowledge of the concepts and theories of counselling and counselling techniques. Emotionally intelligent, with a warm nature and excellent communication skills, my goal is to show you active listening, empathy, and build rapport in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Types of therapy
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): we work together to learn to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. CBT can help with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
- Psychodynamic therapy: this method works by us gaining insight and understanding about how your unconscious beliefs and emotions influence thoughts, behaviors, and actions. This therapy can help with anxiety, depression, and substance use.
- Humanistic therapy: through this method we focus on the idea that you have untapped potential and can manage your issues with the right support. Humanistic therapy can include narrative therapy, existential therapy, and emotion-focused therapy.
- Person-centered therapy: this therapy focuses on empathy and motivation, and the idea that you are the expert in your own life. We explore the tools to help you extract and understand more about what you can do with these insights.
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT): in this therapy you learn to manage painful emotions, develop stronger relationships, and decrease self-destructive behaviors. DBT uses mindfulness and distress tolerance techniques.
